The Type S engine is a 2.0-liter DOHC VTEC Turbo four making 320 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 310 lb-ft from 2,600 to 4,000 rpm, running 25.2 psi of boost and revving to 7,000 rpm. Acura recommends premium 93-octane fuel, a grade above the 91 the 1.5-liter Integra asks for.

A six-speed manual is the only transmission, with close ratios, a lightweight single-mass flywheel and automatic rev matching that offers Comfort and Sport+ profiles and can be switched off entirely. A mechanical helical limited-slip differential handles traction out of corners, and the EPA rates it at 21 city and 28 highway.

A 9-inch touchscreen, a 10.2-inch Acura Precision Cockpit digital cluster and a 5.3-inch head-up display come standard, and the head-up display is offered on no Integra below the A-Spec with Technology Package. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a wireless charging pad are standard.

Audio is the ELS STUDIO 3D system with 16 speakers, including two overhead and a cargo-integrated subwoofer. In Sport+, the active exhaust valve opens up and the gauge needles turn yellow.

AcuraWatch comes standard, covering Collision Mitigation Braking with pedestrian detection, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, the Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation and adaptive cruise control.

The body uses Acura's next-generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering structure, with advanced front airbags, front side and knee airbags, and side curtain airbags. Blind spot information and rear cross traffic monitoring round out the driver-assistance set.

Perforated Ultrasuede-trimmed sport seats with Type S embossed headrests and firmer bolsters hold the front occupants, with a 12-way power driver's seat including power lumbar and heat. A perforated leather sport steering wheel and a dedicated shift knob finish the driving position.

This is still a five-passenger liftback, so the Type S keeps 24.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind 60/40 split-folding rear seatbacks and 37.4 inches of rear legroom. Interior colors are Ebony, Red or Orchid depending on the paint you choose.

The Type S body is 2.8 inches wider than a standard Integra at 74.8 inches, with wide fender flares, enlarged front bumper and hood vents, a gloss black decklid spoiler and Type S badges on the grille, fenders and hatch. Three equal-diameter exhaust outlets sit in a Type S rear diffuser.

Nineteen-inch Shark Gray wheels wear 265/30ZR19 summer tires, and a Dual-Axis Strut front suspension with an Adaptive Damper System keeps the wide track in line. For 2026 the palette adds Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Pearl and Double Apex Blue Pearl, and cars in Double Apex Blue or Performance Red get a body-color grille.
